A Quiet Thank You: What the Higher Self Reminds Us on Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving arrives with its familiar rhythm—tables set, ovens warm, voices overlapping in laughter and stories. Yet beneath the bustle, there’s a softer current. A moment to pause and feel the weight of what’s real: connection, breath, the simple miracle of another year.
As a Level 3 QHHT® practitioner, I spend my days listening to the Higher Self speak through clients in the gentle theta state. Around this time of year, one theme rises again and again—not grand revelations, but quiet gratitude for the ordinary. The soul, it seems, celebrates the small things long before the mind catches up.
The Gift of This Particular Life
In session after session, the Higher Self paints the same picture: Earth is a rare classroom. Emotions run deep, senses are sharp, time feels fleeting. We line up for the chance to taste pumpkin pie, to feel a hand slip into ours, to watch leaves turn and fall.
One client, carrying years of quiet grief, asked why her soul chose such a tender heart. The answer came softly: To feel everything. Not as punishment, but as privilege. After the session, she stood outside my office and cried—not from sorrow, but from noticing the wind on her face for the first time in years.
Gratitude as a Bridge
Thanksgiving asks us to name what we’re thankful for. QHHT® shows it’s already named—written into the blueprint before we arrived.
Another client saw herself planning this life with loved ones in spirit. They laughed as they chose the challenges, the joys, even the arguments yet to come. “We wanted the full story,” her Higher Self said. When she opened her eyes, she smiled at the thought of her stubborn brother-in-law. He’s keeping his promise, she realized. The pie might burn, but the bond holds.
A Simple Practice for the Day
If the noise of the holiday feels heavy, try this gentle step from QHHT® wisdom:
Close your eyes for one quiet minute. Picture your Higher Self watching the table from above—not judging, just smiling. Ask: What did we come here to feel today? The answer is usually small. A laugh. A shared glance. The warmth of a full plate and a fuller heart.
My Own Quiet Thank You
This year, I’m grateful for the clients who trust me with their stories. For the Higher Self that never rushes. For the way a single session can turn “Why me?” into “Thank you for this.”
Wherever you are—gathered loud or sitting alone—may you feel the thread that ties every life together. The soul doesn’t need perfection. It needs presence.
Happy Thanksgiving. The universe is glad you showed up.
With warmth and respect,

Christie Sharp Level 3 QHHT® Practitioner
